The next Greater Manchester ICD Support is taking place on Thursday 15th October at 2pm – 4pm at the Lighthouse Project, Middleton Shopping Centre (Top Floor), Limetrees Rd, Middleton M24 4EL.

We are delighted to welcome guest speaker: Dr Gillian Fairclough who will be speaking about ‘Psychological Wellbeing and Mental Health Support for People Living with Cardiac Conditions’.

Dr Gillian Fairclough is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead for the Long Term Conditions Team within GMMH NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression. Since 2022, the team has been providing evidence-based talking therapies for people living with a range of long term health conditions and the service continues to expand its scope of care. Dr Fairclough has primarily specialised in Clinical Health Psychology since 2012, working across a variety of healthcare settings. Her experience includes delivering integrated psychological care within cardiothoracic transplant, chronic pain, gastroenterology, and oncology services; supporting people to manage the psychological impact of complex and long term physical health conditions.
