We are delighted to welcome our new trustee. John is Head of Technology Operations at dock10, the UK’s leading television facility based in the heart of Media City, Salford. As a founding member of dock10 he has built a large team of highly skilled and experienced Engineers, Technologists and Specialists and is responsible for the successful management, operation and delivery of all aspects of dock10’s technology business.

Prior to dock10, John was at ITV for over 25 years, starting as an Engineer for Granada Television through to becoming Head of Production Technology (North) for ITV.

A graduate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (BSc (Hons)) and Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) and Royal Television Society. He feels privileged to be joining such a great cause and team at NW Hearts and is hoping to add value with his contribution.

Outside of work, John enjoys family life and time socialising with friends, along with regular attendance of various live sports (incl. football, rugby, cricket, tennis).
