Our Operations Manager, Sue Martin, was privileged to join 35+ Deaf attendees at their recent heart health session in Rochdale, funded by NW Hearts Charity. The course was developed through a collaboration between NW Hearts Charity and Deaf Rhinos community group and delivered using BSL by Hassan Nasser, a trainer and deaf support worker at the local leisure centre. Attendees learnt about the heart and how to keep it healthy, made commitments to make small changes to their own lifestyles and enjoyed healthy refreshments to end the day.
