We are delighted to introduce James White as the new Chief Executive of NW Hearts Charity.
James brings a wealth of experience from national and local not-for-profit organisations. Sue Martin, our departing Chief Executive is finally taking a well-earned retirement and will also be joining our Board of Trustees.
Chair of Trustees, Dr Niall Campbell says, “I’m thrilled that James is joining us at this exciting time. His proven commitment and vision are exactly what we need during this decisive period and will help us make an even bigger difference for heart patients, their families and the amazing staff who care for them. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Sue for all her incredible work over the past few years; she will be leaving our charity when it is in a really strong position. We’re so pleased she’ll be sticking around to join our Board of Trustees. Her continued insights will be invaluable for our future successes.”
James says, “I am proud and delighted to join NW Hearts Charity as Chief Executive. Having grown up in Greater Manchester, and as a heart attack survivor myself, I’m raring to go – this is a vital charity doing really important work, with the potential to do even more. I am grateful for the trust placed in me by Niall and the Trustees, and particularly thankful to Sue and the staff team for welcoming me to the team.”
James is already out and about to introduce himself to colleagues, supporters and families. He looks forward to meeting you soon.
Welcome aboard James!
