Mountaineering at its toughest – Three peaks in 23 hours

When Kyle and Connor Divilly lost their father to heart disease, they vowed to  to plough their emotions into achieving something positive, increase their own fitness levels and raise money for local heart charity, NW Hearts Charity.  Kyle admits that training hard was key to the success of taking on one of the most gruelling of challenges.  The UK three peaks climb in 24 hours.  Together, with 10 others and a guide they scaled the 1,345 metres of Ben Nevis in Scotland first, before driving down to Scafell Pike, England to repeat a further climb of 978 metres.  As dusk rolled in, they made it to the summit of their final destination, Snowdon, Wales, a staggering additional 1,085 metres above sea level. What an absolutely amazing achievement and a real tribute to their lovely dad.  If you would like to add to Kyle’s fund-raising efforts, please click on the link to his page here.
